Suits – Season Four: DVD Review

In the high-stakes legal world, contentment doesn’t last long. Though Mike (Patrick J. Adams) has officially left Pearson Specter in favor of a cutthroat investment firm, temporarily placating the pressure of covering his elaborate lie, all is not well. Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Mike quickly find themselves on opposite sides of an intense takeover battle. And, with the SEC’s fervent advances on Pearson Specter increasing in severity, Mike and Rachel’s (Meghan Markle) relationship facing the ultimate test, and Jessica’s (Gina Torres) impartiality being questioned, personal and professional boundaries are crossed by all. But just when all the pieces begin to fall into place, an innocent conversation between Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Mike leads to a potentially lethal revelation. Watch every episode of your favorite legal drama back-to-back and uninterrupted!

The season starts off much like the others with the fallout of what happened in the previous season but after a few episodes in they get right back to where they started. We get Mike and Harvey up to the same old tricks and banter that we all expect at this point and I dig every minute of it. This season had its moments of slowdown here and there but for the most part it was really solid and entertaining the entire way. The most interesting part was somewhat of a role reversal that took place between the two main characters. Of course we also got the everybody look very neat and spiffy at all times which is the norm of the show. The show is fantastically fast paced and quick witted which makes it really fun to watch. I wasn’t a big fan of the shows on the USA Network initially but with shows like Suits it easily pulled me in and grabbed my attention as well as giving me a few style tips along the way. 8/10

Special Features:

Deleted Scenes – A number of scenes from throughout the season that really didn’t offer too much more.

Gag Reel – This is actually really funny and had some great line flubs from the show.

Suits Recruits: The Paper Trail – Various webisodes of a show that is focused on recruits of the Pearson Specter team.

Suits: Season Four is available NOW on DVD from Universal Studios Home Entertainment
