Season 4: Episode 3 “Touched by an Angel” – Jenna gets upset with Matty when they try to be friends with benefits.
So we find out this week that Matty’s mood changer was due to discovering he was adopted. That seemed so out of left field…no? Anywho, this would explain the distance Matty was putting between him and Jenna. So do we sympathize with Matty when he only wants Jenna around for “benefits”? Jerk move Matty. I know you are hurt, but being hurt isn’t a free pass to be a D. We get a surprise ending when Jenna finds Eva at Matty’s home. He is going to find his comfort one way or another. Ugh. This is why being friends with an ex is just no good. Jake this season is slowly shedding away his goody goody attitude. I don’t quite like it right now, but I’m sure with a little time it will grow on me. The episode also had the girls mentor a few freshman only to have one say they want to be 16 and pregnant. LOL. Nice one MTV. And no girls, don’t EVER have that type of goal in life. EVER. I’m ready for the next episode already! Matty ‘splain yourself!
Season 5: Episode 20 “What Lies Beneath” – Damon takes Stefan and Elena to a cabin to keep them safe, and then he devises a parlor game to get them to reveal a secret they’ve been hiding. Meanwhile, Bonnie keeps Jeremy in the dark regarding the truth about the Other Side.
I’ll admit this week I was on the fence of watching the episode. I go through my moments with TVD. Sometimes I’m all hyped and ready for the next episode, other times I feel like its a drag to watch it. When its the same ol’ pattern each time, boredom sets in. But I watched and I was content this time around. I know the whole Damon and Elena thing keeps going up and down, but when he kissed Elena this time around, I really did feel that these two crazy kids should be together. But things always have to be so complicated that it just frustrates me. I know, good TV doesn’t equal simple and happy relationships, but still guys. Let these two just be and have a break! We have two episodes left before the finale and it looks like some serious stuff is about to go down! Everyone is involved and this whole Traveler stuff is getting more intense. I’ll be READY for the next episodes for sure.
Season 3: Episode 20 “Together Again” – Wade blames Zoe for his relationship problems, so she avoids him and tries to assist George, who’s at odds with Lemon. Meanwhile, AnnaBeth’s parents develop a bond with Lavon; and Brick helps Tom and Wanda deal with their infertility issues.
So I believe that this episode is meant to have us believe that there may be a chance for Zade again! Or I could be just so hopeful that I imagined it all lol. Lemon hinted to Wade that Zoe must have a lot of power over his heart and then George questions Zoe’s reason for caring about Wade so much. Everyone is single right now. Out of the crazy four, someone is bound to end up together. For a second, I thought they would bring back Zoe and George, but that would just be too easy. So easy that even Zoe and George made it a point to tell us all that. A.B. and Lavon were a bit more civilized this time around and Shelby reappears to surprise Brick with a proposal that he is forced to decline. I really hope we hear Wanda is pregnant before the finale. Anyhow, another great episode in the books from my favorite Bluebellians.
