Mordecai and Rigby are back in another DVD compilation release of the widely popular show on Cartoon Network. The release includes 14 episodes with a Halloween theme and a running time of 176 minutes. I can honestly say that I enjoyed this show immensely and that the episodes that were chosen were done so perfectly. Normally these kinds of toons have me chuckling a bit but this one had me actually laughing out loud on more than a handful of occasions. It combines silly humor with the cooky and creative animation that the series’ on Cartoon Network are known for. I think the thing that I liked the most about the show was the interaction between the two main characters. The way they talk reminds me of my friends and I when we were kids. My favorite episode in the set had to be Grave Sights just because of the Ash-like character (from the Evil Dead series) and the zombies. I’m a huge zombie fan and the way they animated them was pretty good. The show is great for kids that are maybe 10 years old and older and is even enjoyable for the adults. If I had only one complaint it would be that is was only 2 hours. After all the episodes were done I still wanted to watch more. I’ll definitely be looking for more of this show very soon and more DVD releases. With a decent price tag this is one you should pick up for you or your kiddos.

Regular Show: Fright Pack is available Sept. 3rd on DVD from Cartoon Network and Warner Home Video
