The Movie:

Axel, Jonathan and Ana live together in a post-catastrophic world. Their whole dynamic changes when Axel and Jonathan go out on an expedition in search of provisions and return to the house with a zombie that they call Pythagoras.

Zombie/Post Apocalyptic movies are my thing and Indie movies are my thing so this was the best of both worlds. First off, this movie is completely in Spanish with English subtitles so that may push a few people away but if you stick with it you might be surprised at how quickly you forget about it. This isn’t like any other zombie film though and that’s what got me interested. The story basically plays out as 2 guys and a girl are the only ones left alive in their area for all they know and emotions start to run high when a love triangle forms in the middle of a post apocalyptic world. If you can’t handle a slow building film then this may not be for you because there really isn’t too much action. What you have is a film that digs into the human condition and the way people act with and against each other when put in a drastic situation. It’s a drama wrapped up in a horror based world. Kind of like The Walking Dead except not as action packed. Even without all the zombie kills it really is a unique film that I recommend people checking out, even if you’re the slightest bit curious.
