Family Guy is back with volume twelve which includes 22 uncensored episodes with a running time of a little over 8 hours! This is the kind of show that usually grabs the attention of two types of people: People that love the show and people that hate it. It has had so much controversy in the past due to the nature of some of the comedy but if you’re a skeptic and you watch an episode of two, you can’t deny that the show is full of very smart comedy as well. The references and quips are sometimes so quick that if you’re mind isn’t just as quick to catch it then it will bypass you but when you do catch it you find just how unique the show is. There are references that are obscure and some that only people that follow the show will get and I think sometimes that’s what turns people off about it when they randomly watch an episode…….they just don’t get it. This collection of episodes were probably some of the funniest that I’ve seen in a while with my laughter starting at a slight chuckle to fully laughing out loud. Probably one of my favorite episodes was 200th episode titled “Yug Ylimaf” and the way they went back to certain moments in the shows history but in complete reverse, especially the fight between Peter and the chicken. The best thing about this set is that you can easily sit down and say that you’re only going to watch an episode or 2 then end up watching pretty much the whole thing. That’s exactly what happened to me and the end result was me watching all 3 discs in one day. It’s extremely easy to get through without feeling like it’s such a task. If you like smart, brash, politically incorrect humor then you HAVE to pick this up!

Special Features:

Deleted Scenes – Each disc has a handful of scenes that, even though they were cut, were still pretty entertaining.
