A rebel girl signs up a group of cheerleaders to help her take down the captain of their high school football team, but a supernatural turn of events thrusts the girls into a different battle.

The moment the movie started I kind of rolled my eyes and thought “Aw hell, not another one.” and that’s because it begins with two teenage girls and a camcorder. What found footage movies have you seen that have started the same way? Yes, A LOT! Thankfully it was only an intro into what the movie was going to be and actually now I could appreciate what they did with the beginning. It was a good way to send a bit of shock to set the tone for the rest of the film. The movie reminded me a bit of the horror film Sometimes They Come Back mixed in with a little bit of Bring It On and Mean Girls which makes for some funny moments. It’s really hard to pick a standout performance when all of the main cast of girls killed it (No Pun Intended). Each gave a different flavor to the film but didn’t make it feel like they were just thrown together for the sake of girls having different personalities. What’s a horror movie without gore right? Well this movie has plenty of it and for a smaller budgeted film it actually looks really good! The supernatural aspect of the story is unique and something that I don’t think I’ve seen before but I wasn’t too keen on the magical rocks thing. Other than that small little thing I thought the film was great. It blended horror, comedy and girls in cheerleader outfits. What more could you ask for right? There’s a bit of everything for everybody in this film and the final frame of the film gives you the perfect ending for the film and something to look forward to. Check this out for sure when it hits Video On Demand May 8th from Image Entertainment!!
