Exactly How Many Villians Are We Going To Have In “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”?!
Twitter User Jeser Piedra took a photo of a poster in a Las Vegas movie theater giving us the first look (kinda) at Rhino and Green Goblin along with the already known Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Then on the 27th there was a post on The Daily Bugle Tumblr page that goes on to describe a robbery that happened where a “sustained vibration literally shook the door off its hinges and ripped the walls apart in the process”. To me that sounds a hell of a lot like Shocker.
My question now is: Are they going to bog down the film with too many villains in an effort to speed things up to get to them including The Sinister Six? I certainly hope not. I think at this point Electro is enough and (if they are going to do it then) I hope they have small parts for the other villains. At least that way there’s a slight introduction and we don’t have to see it down the line. Shocker is a decent bad guy but 4 may be way too much for the film and could end up be a re-tread of Spider-Man 3 which I KNOW is on everyones mind at this point. A theory I have on Shocker is that maybe he won’t be in the film at all and they will mix him and Electro together. If Marc Webb miraculously pulls this off I will be completely sold on his vision for The Sinister Six. What do you all think? Are you excited for TASM2?
