Season Overview:

is an edgy, foul-mouthed stand-up comic living in Los Angeles, struggling to make his life and career more “legit.” But every time Jim tries to do the right thing, his good deeds turn into wildly inappropriate and utterly hilarious escapades. Joined by his neurotic best friend and roommate, Steve (), and Steve’s wheelchair-bound brother, Billy (), Jim takes comedy to a whole new level, whether it’s visiting a Las Vegas brothel, partying with the mentally-challenged or trying to pick up women at a gay bar.

This is one of those shows that shows you its true colors immediately giving you a “take it or leave it” kind of chance. It’s so wrong and horribly offensive….but in the funniest sense. Jefferies plays his character in a non-fiction/fiction kind of way to where the basic outline of the character is him but the things that he does are so far fetched in real life for him to actually do (or so I hope…ha!). As the season goes on you realize that within all the mean spirited things he does there are equally as many things that he does that show that he has a heart. From the very start of the series the misadventures that these guys go on are so insane and hilarious that you almost can’t believe what you are watching. The character that Qualls plays is one that is teetering on a line of being inappropriate but just when you have a thought like that pop in your head they empower him so much that he appears to be superior than the other main players. Bakkedahl’s role basically feels like the “in-betweener” to Jefferies and Qualls. He provides great balance in an otherwise crazy show but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t get into weird situations either. This show honestly isn’t for everyone but if you aren’t easily offended and looking for a good laugh then I suggest you checking this out.

Special Features:

Deleted/Extended Scenes – Close to 10 minutes worth of scenes that are actually worth checking out.

Gag Reel – Love these features and this is just as good as I would’ve thought it would be.

Jim Jefferies’ Journey – Gives some insight on Jefferies and what led him to this.
