The Movie:

Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, the world-famous Hawaiian shirt-clad comedian, takes viewers on a joke-filled journey into his life in this nonstop laugh fest. The funnyman delves into subjects such as the joys of parenting a teen, the similarities between India and Mexico, and more hilarious observations, while also providing fans with special backstage access and exclusive never-before-seen footage from his sold-out Unity Through Laughter tour. See Fluffy himself unleashed, as he puts his animated storytelling, spot-on impressions and vivid sound effects on display before audiences around the world in this must-own comedy event.

I’ve always thought that Iglesias was a great comedian. I remember seeing his act when he was first starting out and his cartoon-y way of telling stories had me cracking up. The other thing that I could appreciate from him was the way that he could make fun of himself (which pretty much all comedians do anyway) and the way he seemed so honest and genuine. If that’s something that you may dig then there’s lots more of that in this stand up film. Iglesias starts by talking about his battle with weight loss and doesn’t pulls any punches at all which is nice because it shows a side to him that people may not know. His humor is so self deprecating at times but it’s those moments that make him so endearing to his audience and in the end they all tend to chant his name like crazy. The other thing that he talks about as well was meeting his father for the first time after 30 years and what it’s like being a step-dad which are all things that people will be able to relate to in one way or another. Iglesias doesn’t have a hard edge like someone like Kevin Hart or Louis C.K. and you’ll either love him or hate him but you can’t deny one bit that this guy is entertaining as hell.

Special Features:

Extended Version – Either one would be suitable for viewing as the extended version is only about 13 minutes longer so there isn’t too much of a difference.

The Fluffy Movie is available NOW on Blu-ray and DVD from Universal Studios Home Entertainment
